Taking full advantage of the discontinuation of the Lincoln Town Car, the former indisputable leader of the livery industry, Cadillac is targeting fleet buyers with the reveal of its Hearse, Limo and Livery package models for the 2013 XTS. The XTS livery range has been developed by the special Cadillac Professional Vehicles division and certain aftermarket firms. Based on a modern and fuel efficient platform, it has been designed and engineered to stand up to regular commercial use.

It benefits from an air-leveling rear suspension with Magnetic Ride Control offering those sitting in the rear of the front-wheel-drive model a smooth ride. Heated rear seats, rear window shades, a premium sound system and 19-inch alloys housing Brembo brakes are other features of the new XTS variants. XTS livery models will be powered by a 300 horsepower 3.6-liter V6, with a 17/28 mpg city/highway fuel economy, while the driver will get Cadillac's CUE infotainment system, sat-nav, a backup camera and remote start. Given the impressive interior of the new XTS, expect the limo to be particularly opulent and the hearse to give the departed a way to go out in style.
