Cadillac Escalade Hybrid-A Study in Contradictions

So Cadillac's full force plug into the world of green technology has produced us the 2010 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid. This is a study in contradictions that for first time consumers can have a luxurious full-size SUV that lets them save some fuel. Nice as it sounds, some have pointed out that the Escalade Hybrid, while being more efficient, is still the same gasoline sucking vehicle it was before (taking a gallon of gas for every 12 to 15 miles).

The Cadillac Escalade Hybrid made very few comprises and held on to most of its original trimmings. Most people are also weary of the fact that the Escalade Hybrid still gets fuel economy well below what most associate with hybrids. At the end it's up to the buyer to make the compromise between luxury and going green.
