Cadillac Shows Off The Celestiq's $300,000 Cabin

Teaser / 22 Comments

This will be the nicest Caddy of all time.

Cadillac has been slowly releasing teaser images of its upcoming Celestiq electric sedan, giving us little glimpses of what will likely be the most opulent Caddy in almost a century. What we've seen of the interior looks well above Mercedes and Tesla quality, but the price will likely be in Bentley and Rolls-Royce territory at around $300,000.

Will the 2023 Cadillac Celestiq really be worth Flying Spur or Ghost money?

"The Celestiq will have materials you haven't seen in a Bugatti or Koenigsegg," Cadillac's Tristan Murphy told CarBuzz at the launch event for the Lyriq. And if these latest images are any indication, we'd say $300,000 looks like a bargain.

After only showing small portions of the car, Cadillac has nearly revealed the entire Celestiq, both inside and out. The latest teaser shows the front and rear styling, and a full look at the grandiose cabin, which is filled to the brim with red leather.

"Every Celestiq will be instantly identifiable as one of a kind, giving each client a personal connection to Cadillac's newest flagship," said Erin Crossley, design director, for the Celestiq. "With Cadillac reimagining the future of American luxury, we are entering an era of limitless possibilities and the future of design."

From what we can tell in these new pictures, Cadillac will build upon what was introduced with the Lyriq, adding a hand-built quality that will once again meet the "standard of the world" claim from the company's early days.

As for the exterior, the Celesiq will take the Lyriq's bold styling elements and apply them to a sleek, sexy sedan. This is going to look like a road-going concept car with futuristic lights, massive wheels, and other unique design elements we have yet to see.

The Celestiq will be built at General Motors' special Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Cadillac will fully reveal the show car for the first time July 22, 2022, with availability of the production model being announced at a later date.
