Will replace the awesome CTS.V.R when it finishes its term.
After being a successful competitor in the Pirelli World Challenge for the last few years, Cadillac's CTS.V.R is getting ready to retire. And according to a recent report, the outgoing champion is set to be replaced by an ATS Coupe-based racer, currently under development by Pratt & Miller Engineering. Like the upcoming ATS-V, this car will be powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 rather than a naturally-aspirated V8. It will also benefit from rear-wheel drive.
According to the report in Racer, the ATS Coupe racer could reach farther than its predecessor by upholding GT3 racing rules, making it eligible to fight some incredible cars in the world ring. Stay tuned for more details on this hot Caddy.
