Will replace the awesome CTS.V.R when it finishes its term.
Afterbeing a successful competitor in the Pirelli World Challenge for the last fewyears, Cadillac's CTS.V.R is getting ready to retire. And according to a recentreport, the outgoing champion is set to be replaced by an ATS Coupe-basedracer, currently under development by Pratt & Miller Engineering. Like theupcoming ATS-V, this car will be powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 rather thana naturally-aspirated V8. It will also benefit from rear-wheel drive.
According to the report in Racer, the ATS Coupe racer could reachfarther than its predecessor by upholding GT3 racing rules, making it eligible tofight some incredible cars in the world ring. Stay tuned for more details onthis hot Caddy.
