Although the Cadillac XT5 remains the luxury brand's best-selling model, the new for 2019 Cadillac XT4 is quickly gaining ground. Cadillac's compact luxury crossover has contributed to its sales success by proving itself against rivals such as the Jaguar E-Pace, Lexus UX, and Lincoln Corsair. As part of an effort to increase sales even further, Cadillac has authorized its US dealerships to cut the crossover's price this month by as much as $5,500. In fact, both 2019 and 2020 models qualify and this month's offers are even more generous than in previous months.

Here's what's on offer: there's a nationwide 2019 Cadillac XT4 retail offer of $5,500 cash allowance. Prefer the nearly identical 2020 XT4? You could be eligible for a $2,000 cash allowance.

There's also a finance offer for the 2020 XT4: 0 percent APR financing for 60 months plus $2,000 cashback, but only if you finance through GM Financial. Those who prefer to lease a 2020 XT4 can do so for $497 a month for 36 months for the Luxury FWD trim only. However, there's $0 down payment and $0 security deposit required, though yearly mileage is limited to 10,000 miles and you must be currently leasing or owning a non-GM vehicle.

Those interested in any of the above offers should note they are valid through March 31.

It's hard not to notice that the 2019 XT4 is the real deal here. It normally carries a starting MSRP of $34,795 and goes up to about $42,000. Subtract $5,500 and you could bring that price below the $30k mark. Regardless of trim, all XT4s come powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed transmission routes power to either the front or all four wheels, but the latter comes at an additional cost.

It's clear Cadillac wants to get rid of the remaining 2019 XT4 models sitting on dealership lots and with $5,500 on their hoods, now's the time to help Cadillac make that happen.
