The C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a pretty impressive machine, with its 6.2-liter supercharged V8 producing 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. However, that hasn't stopped Callaway from taking the awesome sports car even further. The company made a stunning shooting brake version, but what you may not know about the tuning firm is that it has a long history in GT3 racing and has a special C7 dedicated to track wars. The company has a long history with the Corvette itself too, having produced some of the coolest 'Vettes of the 90s. To celebrate a long and illustrious motorsport history with the Corvette, the American tuning firm has released a special celebratory edition: meet the Callaway Champion.

In association with the Leingarten Germany race team, Callaway has spent more than 25 years racing in the International GT series and wanted to do something special to commemorate the occasion. The result is called the Callaway Champion: a Z06 that has been given numerous upgrades including the tuning company's SC757 Power Package. This adds Callaway's GenThree blower and TripleCooled intercooler, a better breathing intake system, new floor mats, and new door sill panels. As the name of the package suggests, final output is 757 hp with 777 lb-ft of torque. This Z06 is now capable of 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and a 10.5-second quarter-mile with a 131-mph exit speed.

In addition to the Power Package, the Callaway Champion also features a Double D exhaust system and some heavy-duty cooling upgrades. There's also a special S3 shifter and a harness bar while the exterior boasts new wheels, upgraded suspension, a Callaway Europe rear spoiler, and a GT3 rear wing. Since the car is produced to celebrate success with a German team, it's not just us Americans who get access to it. The car will be available in the U.S. and Canada through dealers while BH Auction in Tokyo will also get in on the action and Autohaus Kramm in Berlin will offer it too.
