So bonkers it's brilliant.
Last April, Callaway revealed its aftermarket package for the Corvette Z06, but didn't announce its exact power figures. Until now. Callaway has just released official specs for what it describes as its most powerful Corvette ever. Based on the stock C7 Z06, Callaway went ahead and added its GenThree Supercharger, which is 32 percent larger in displacement than the GM manufactured blower. Total output is an insane 757 hp and 777 lb-ft of torque.
0-60 mph happens in a very brief 2.8 seconds while the quarter-mile is accomplished in only 10.5 seconds at 131 mph. That new and larger supercharger features a triple-element intercooler that Callaway claims "eliminates the power-robbing heat soak phenomenon that other superchargers inherently produce." Callaway also connected the supercharger to a high-flow intake. Visual upgrades include Callaway door-sill panels, Callaway-embroidered floor mats and a VIN plaque under the hood. How much will all this cost? The package runs for $16,995 – in addition to the cost of the Z06 itself – and is backed by a three-year/36,000-mile warranty. This can be further upgraded to a five-year/100,000-mile warranty for an additional cost.
