Callaway Performance has announced a performance package for the Camaro Z/28 giving the modern muscle classic even more potent track potential. Dubbed the SC652 – the nomenclature referring to the supercharger and 652 horsepower output – Callayway's aftermarket kit adds a Eaton supercharger to the Z/28's 7.0-liter unit, along with liquid-to-air intercooling, a free-flow exhaust and larger fuel injectors. As well as squeezing an extra 147 horses from the LS7 powerplant, the SC652 increases torque by 139 to 620 pound-feet.

The result is a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds and an 11.5-second quarter mile at 124 mph. The only clues of the track-focused car's new potential are some discreet badging, embroidered floor mats, carbon-fiber injector covers, and a dash plaque. Callaway has priced the package at $19,995 – on top of the $75,695 price of a Z/28 – and plans to build just ten of them.
