Chevy specialist Callaway has just announced a supercharging package that it plans to offer on the brand-new Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe SUVs. The package will include a wide array of upgrades to the company's full-size SUVs engines, boosting their 5.3-liter EcoTec V8s with an Eaton TVS Roots-style supercharger. This will bring the duo's power output up to 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, up from the stock 355 and 383.

The engine upgrade will also include a liquid-to-air intercooler and a new exhaust system. Under the hood, the supercharged engine will receive a special Callaway plaque. All components will benefit from a three-year/36,000-mile warranty, and interiors will be given embroidered headrests and Callaway floor mats. This massive upgrade doesn't come cheap: the package will cost $17,395 for both vehicles, which will be tacked on to the Tahoe's base price of $45,595 or the Suburban's $48,295 starting price. Both SUVs will hit showrooms at the end of this quarter.
