Check it out and make up your own mind.
Having unveiled the all-new Q7 earlier this year, Audi is now hard at work preparing the high-performance variant, the SQ7. The quad-tip exhaust at the back is the biggest clue that this is no average Q7, while other indications include intercoolers poking out from near the fog lights and beefier ceramic brakes. A couple of interior shots also confirm this is a SQ7 prototype. When the hi-po SUV is complete, expect to see more aggressive bodywork, an updated suspension and sports seats.
Audi has already revealed a TDI powerplant will motivate the SQ7, something confirmed by the dials. That means either a V6 as shown in the RS5 TDI concept or a variant of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 used in various Audi ‘S’ cars.
