Can the Mercedes S-Class Maybach Really Ring?

Mercedes tests its newest flagship limo at the Nurburgring.

The upcoming Maybach limousine, basically a stretched,ultra-luxury version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, has yet to be officiallyrevealed. But here, we see the Rolls Royce-combater testing with nearly no camouflageon Germany’s Nurburgring track – hardly the place we would ever expect tofind one of these mammoth sedans. But for its size – 200 mm longerthan the standard S-Class – the Maybach does roll quite well, poweredby the S65’s 6.0-liter, 630-horsepower V12.
