If you're looking to be bummed out a bit then these photos of a wrecked Koenigsegg Agera should do the trick. Now the details of this crash are a bit murky. The photos come from the Global Car Wanted Facebook page, with the description reading simply "Koenigsegg Agera crash in China." The Supercar Kids (TSK) reports that this crash happened in Shanghai, China. TSK also says this Koenigsegg started life as an Agera before being sent back to the factory for an Agera R performance upgrade.

The Agera R was a pretty big step up from the standard version of the supercar. It boasted 1,140 horsepower and a max torque rating of 885 lb-ft. The Agera had the same torque figure but "only" pushed 960 horsepower. A run from 0 to 62 mph took just 2.8 seconds-the Agera ran it in 3.0 seconds-and 0 to 200 mph checked in at a ludicrous 17.68 seconds. Only 18 Agera R supercars were made, although we don't know how many regular Ageras got the R performance upgrade. As we said, details are scarce and we hope no one involved was injured. The Koenigsegg looks pretty smashed up but it seems like it's not a total write-off. We'll update this story as we get more details.
