The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is looking like one heck of a performance bargain. The muscle car is equipped with a 526-hp 5.2-liter V8 that can rev all the way out to 8,200 rpm. It's blisteringly fast, makes a brutal sound and has already won one award. What makes the Shelby GT350 and the more hardcore GT350R even more desirable is the fact that the muscle cars start at an affordable price. The GT350 starts from $47,795 (excluding destination and gas guzzler tax) while the GT350R starts at $61,295.

At under $50,000, the GT350 is a performance bargain, but dealerships know that the two muscle cars will garner a lot of attention and have smacked the vehicles with a massive markup. Reddit user rubysown spotted a GT350 with a $20,000 markup. That brings the price tag for this specific GT350 to a whopping $78,345 or roughly the same price as a Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Unfortunately, the Z06 is more powerful, faster and better than the GT350 in every way possible. Since both vehicles could be priced similarly, would you take the GT350 or Z06?
