Hint: It's about to be revealed any day now.
Chevrolet has been teasing it relentlessly and for some May 16 cannot come around quick enough. That's the date the all-new sixth-generation Camaro will be unveiled, and until then brace yourself for more teasers such as this. The two new images reveal the hood and rear quarter-panel. The former looks particularly well sculpted with creases in all the right places, while the back end shot proves that Chevy's commitment to stripping weight from the new pony car has been fulfilled, with a distinct athletic look.
The carmaker says the rear fenders will help the car look "even lower and wider despite having a slightly smaller footprint than its predecessor." GM's Vice President of Global Design Ed Welburn boasted: "The Camaro went to the gym and came out with a lithe, more athletic physique for the sixth generation. It's a more expressive evolution of the Camaro's iconic character – and one that complements its leaner size and sharper reflexes."
