Whether you love them or hate them, hybrids are the way of the future. From daily drivers to supercars, everyone is getting in on the electric-petrol love fest. Hybrids are nothing new. In fact, the first one was created over 100 years ago. So, what company created the world's first hybrid car? Here's a hint: The company is still making cars today and has been around for quite a long time. Did you guess Porsche? If so, you win! Ferdinand Porsche built the Semper Vivus in 1900, way before the 918 made headlines. The OG hybrid had 4,000 pounds worth of batteries and didn't look much like a car. It was also created some 31 years before Porsche was founded, but that's just a minor technicality.
