Carjacking In Australia Leads To High Speed Chase, Shootout And General Stupidity

Police

Heavy on the stupidity.

The following video starts just after a pair of carjackers were brought to a stop in their stolen Lancer by spike strips. The pair of shirtless men (why shirtless, did they think the wind resistance would slow down their escape?) had stolen the car in Brisbane, Australia, and led police on a high speed chase into the neighboring state of New South Wales. The pair trade a bit of gunfire with police, after which they try, and fail, to steal another car.

The final attempt to steal a car is where they fail especially spectacularly, the driver having the gun pointed at him simply speeds up and hits the carjacker, ending the chase.
