The German tuning outfit's latest package the R172, made up of exterior, interior and technical upgrades, will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show next week. First up, the two-seater roadster gets an aerodynamics package, made up of a carbon-fiber Carlsson front spoiler and RS front spoiler lip, and a Carlsson grille with inserts made from electro-polished stainless-steel. At the rear, Carlsson fitted skirt inserts, a diffuser and a spoiler for added downforce.

Carlsson has lowered the SLK by around 30mm, while the wheel arches house 19-inch 1/10 TE design Carlsson light alloys. Carlsson's Signature Line leather finish in Nappa Exclusive leather adorns the interior, which also boasts pedal overlays, footrests, door locking pins made from brushed aluminum, door sill panels, and a glass wind deflector embossed with a laser-printed Carlsson logo. To enhance performance, the CB25 S performance kit that offers 239hp was installed by the Mercedes specialist, while the soundtrack was improved via the addition of a flow-optimized, stainless-steel rear muffler with quad oval tailpipes.
