The Geneva Auto Show has long been a haven for tuning companies to come together and show off their latest wares. Carlsson from Germany is heading to the Swiss show with a Mercedes-Benz ML SUV tweaked for performance and style and crowned with the German's (former) signature logo replacing the three-pointed star. In terms of motivation, the Mercedes-Benz ML 350 BlueTec 3-liter V6 diesel engine has been upgraded by Carlsson significantly.

Power has been worked to 310hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, up from its stock rating of 260hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. More performance upgrades from Carlsson are still in the works. An aerodynamic body kit has been added to the Mercedes-Benz ML as well, further enhancing performance and giving the SUV some new style. The package includes a redesigned front fascia complete with LED daytime running lights, a dual headlight unit and polished stainless steel mesh grille inserts. New side skirts, rear fascia with Carlsson's own double-flow stainless-steel exhaust and set of 22-inch light alloy wheels all give the Merc SUV some serious looks.

Also included is an iPhone or iPad app-controlled Carlsson C-Tronic Suspension system. The SUV can be lowered using the app by 30mm. The Carlsson Mercedes-Benz ML CD35 will be on display at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show beginning tomorrow, March 6th.
