One of America's most recognizable automakers is, once again, taking full advantage of the upcoming 4th of July holiday, though this year is dramatically different than ever before. A bulletin that's just been sent to dealerships has been seen by Cars Direct and it focuses specifically on Jeep's best-selling SUVs. In short, the latest APR deals are even better than they were earlier this month.

Let's start with the Jeep Cherokee. It previously had a rate of 3.9 percent plus a $750 bonus for 72 months and now the rate has been dropped to 0 percent for the same period of time. This translates to $417 a month on a $30,000 Cherokee, compared to $456 per month.

Next up is the Jeep Renegade. Just last week Jeep began offering it with the exact same deal as the Cherokee. Last Friday, the best-selling Jeep Grand Cherokee was also added to the 0 percent APR list, though it's limited to regions, specifically the Southwest, Midwest, and Southeast.

It's worth remembering this 0 percent APR for 72 months isn't quite as good of a deal as the 0 percent for 84 months offer. Of course, that was in March when the coronavirus pandemic struck hard and FCA decided to take some extreme measures to keep sales going. It wasn't the only automaker to adopt this sales model but, like others, it increased rates in May.

Could Jeep soon offer an even better deal? It's impossible to answer that but automakers tend to have more special offers during holiday periods, so bear that in mind. The next national holiday isn't until Labor Day Weekend in September.

To give you a better idea just how good Jeep's current offers are, look no further than the competition. A new Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, two of the Cherokee's main rivals, are both being offered with 2.9 percent APR, though for 72 months. The added interest translates to well over a thousand dollars.

Anyone interested in taking Jeep up on these offers should act fast even though no expiration date has been provided. The 4th of July weekend is just over a week away.
