It started in London, and Idris Elba's road trip to Berlin has taken a diversion in order for star of The Wire and Luther to push the new Jaguar XE to its limits at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium. Formula One racing legend Martin Brundle was standing by to scare the crap out of the British actor by taking him out in a top-of-the-line 340-hp V6-powered Jaguar XE with the racetrack coated in ice, snow, and fog.

After surviving that, Elba takes the "big-boy" car out for a spin on his own, before continuing his 750-mile journey to Germany's capital where he will DJ at a launch party for the new Leaping Cat.
