No, this is not a joke.
In a move that is sure to placate some and sicken others, a source close to the production of "Fast & Furious 7" has revealed that a combination of body doubles and CGI will keep Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner in the seventh instalment of the hit franchise. According to NY Daily News, the source said: "They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul’s physique and they will be used for movement and as a base. Paul’s face and voice will be used on top using CGI."
Producers and Universal Pictures are confident fans will be happy with the result, and have confirmed the late actor who tragically died late last year, will appear in the F&F 7. “Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of ‘Fast & Furious 7.’” After a brief delay, shooting of the movie has restarted, most recently on the streets of downtown Atlanta.
