170 million. That's how many records Drake has sold, ranking him as the most successful solo recording artist in Billboard history. And that, in turn, has made him wealthy. Very wealthy, with a net worth estimated at $150 million. So it's safe to say that he has enough pocket cash to buy just about any car he wants, and deck it out however he wants it. And this is apparently what he's chosen for his latest ride.
It's a brand-spanking-new Rolls-Royce Phantom, but as you can see, it's not just "any" Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Drake's new Rolls has been upgraded to Mansory's Bushukan spec – like the one (pictured at bottom) revealed in Geneva last year, if that's not the actual one. It's done up in two-tone black and pale yellow, with oversized blacked-out rims, and... what's that? Yeah, a solid-gold owl as the hood ornament. With diamonds for eyes, and more diamonds set around the base.
Why an owl, you wonder? Well, it's apparently something of a spirit animal to Drake, who has the large image of one tattooed across his chest, and uses the nocturnal bird of prey as the logo for his recording label OVO Sound.
He's also been known to wear clothing emblazoned with the image, and even had a $50,000 diamond and platinum owl pendant specially made for him. But we'd wager the hood ornament is worth even more. Probably much more. Good thing it can be retracted beneath the hood and behind the grille, like the Spirit of Ecstasy it displaced on this custom Phantom.
The limo was apparently customized for Drake by Tony Bet for Driving Emotions Motorcar in his home town of Toronto. Bet reportedly handles all of Drake's cars, which have also included Bugattis, McLarens, Maybachs, and a handful of other Rolls-Royces.
