Will debut in Detroit next month.

The all-new GLE-Class Coupe will debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show next month, and it appears the German carmaker has plans to show off the BMW X6 rival in a range of flavors. A new ‘AMG Sport’ variant was teased last week, and now we have these spy shots of a full-on hardcore AMG prototype undergoing winter testing. Typical aggressive styling includes large intakes in the front bumper, an A-wing front splitter, and quad exhaust tips.

Power for the GLE63 Coupe will come from the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in the AMG GT S with at least the same 510 hp on tap. The hi-po coupe-crossover will be underpinned by the M-Class platform, while drive will go to all four wheels via a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system.
