Pagani has a long history of testing prototypes that, aside from the unusual paint jobs, look quite similar to the eventual production model. And because it’s a boutique carmaker, Pagani doesn’t have the nearly unlimited resources to build several working test mules like the larger brands. It has to make do with just a precious few. And now, for the first time ever, Pagani has put on display one of its Huayra prototypes.
Our good friend Marchettino was on hand to capture the car on video for the rest of the world to see. Originally painted pink, this prototype Huayra now has a matte green body wrap. Pagani also has a history of reusing its prototypes for further testing, specifically engine upgrades and other exterior changes.
