Back in 1975, Chevrolet created arguably the catchiest car commercial of all time. If you are old enough to remember it, you probably still have the infectious "baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet" jingle stuck in your head. Now, Chevrolet is bringing back baseball, hot dogs, and apple pie, but with a new twist. Inspired by the commercial, Chevrolet has collaborated with celebrity chef Guy Fieri to create an actual apple pie hot dog.

This indulgent, quintessentially American snack includes an all-beef hot dog wrapped in a flaky pie crust filled with apple pie filling and bacon jam. It's topped with an apple mustard drizzle, apple pie spice, and demerara sugar.

Fittingly, Guy Fieri's apple pie hot dog will be served at the MLB at Field of Dreams baseball game in Dyersville, Iowa, on August 12th. This will be the first time a Major League game has been held in the state of Iowa. "As a long-time Chevy guy, it's awesome to be working together on this funky throwback snack for the MLB at Field of Dreams Game," said Fieri. "I can't wait to see the reactions from fans as they take their first bite of the Apple Pie Hot Dog!"

"From the major leagues to local community teams, Chevrolet has long been a proud supporter of baseball," said Steve Majoros, vice president, Chevrolet Marketing. "We're excited about the Apple Pie Hot Dog because it helps us celebrate and connect with a community of fans at the MLB at Field of Dreams Game, a uniquely American event."

As a homage to the original commercial, Chevrolet has also created a modern remix of the classic jingle that you can listen to in a new video starring a classic C3 Corvette and a modern C8 Corvette Stingray.

While Fieri is best known for his restaurants and hosting Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network, the chef is also a huge fan of classic American muscle cars. Among the cars in his collection include a 1967 Camaro SS Convertible that often features in Diner, Drive-Ins, and Dives, as well as a 1968 Pontiac Firebird, a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, and special-edition 427 Corvette Collector Edition built to celebrate the Corvette's 60th anniversary.
