Special edition geared towards going offroad.
Unveiled at the Cleveland Auto Show, the Trail Boss is a new special edition of the Chevy Colorado. Combining cosmetic tweaks, the Z71 offroad truck suspension kit and beefier rubber, the new Trail Boss is aimed at those who prefer trucking away from the pavement and is available with a long or short cargo bed and as an extended or crew cab body. Black fender flares and blacked-out Chevy bowtie logos are the extent of the style upgrades.
The true enhancements come in the form of a G8 automatic locking rear differential, 17-inch rims wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac rubber, front recovery hooks, front fogs, three-inch rocker steps, project beam headlamps, all-weather floor mats, and a spray-on bedliner. The Trail Boss also comes with some GearOn goodies, such as a load bar and cargo divider and moveable cargo tie-down rings. The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss will go on sale this spring starting from $31,825.
