Check out these new C8 Corvette aftermarket accessories from LG Motorsports.
Since the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray went on sale, aftermarket tuners have been offering accessories to spice up the mid-engine sports car. Doing what it does best, Hennessey Performance has extracted more performance from Chevrolet's 6.2-liter V8 engine, enabling the C8 Corvette to break the 200-mph barrier. These new accessories from LG Motorsports, on the other hand, focus on improving the Corvette's handling to make it more track-capable.
One of its most significant upgrades is a "GT2" rear wing. Made entirely from carbon fiber, the huge rear wing features carbon-fiber end plates and aluminum upper mounts. An aluminum wicker is also available.
LG Motorsports claims the design of the wing helps increase the car's downforce while minimizing the amount of aero drag. To prevent damaging the body, the wing mounts directly to the frame instead of the bodywork. LG Motorsports is charging $4,561.90 for the wing, mounting kit, and spoiler delete package that hides the holes left by the factory spoiler being removed.
To complement the rear wing, LG Motorsports is also developing an aggressive-looking front splitter for the C8 Corvette. Like the rear wing, the front splitter is made entirely out of carbon fiber and comes with a bolt-on package and all necessary items for installation.
No pricing details are available yet, but LG Motorsports claims the aftermarket component will provide "the most downforce of any C8 splitter kit."
As well as offering aggressive aero components, LG Motorsports sells mechanical upgrades including new headers for $1,395 and a $2,595.95 catback exhaust system that makes the muscle car sound more menacing. A complete exhaust package will set you back $4,995.95, and a monoball control arm kit is available for $2,195.95. For $1,996.48, LG Motorsports can also install new driveshafts that can handle up to 1,400 hp.
