This marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Chevrolet, and as any good automaker would do, they're celebrating with a special edition of their most exotic car. Of course, since the Corvette is the everyman's exotic car, the Centennial Edition package is available for all forms of the Corvette, not just the range-topping ZR1. The Centennial Edition will go on sale this summer, and first one was sold this weekend at the Barrett-Jackson auction.

The Centennial Edition package includes lots of carbon fiber, special graphics, and a new set of wheels and calipers. The crossed flag badge has also been slightly modified for the special edition, with a "100" in place of the fleur-de-lis normally found on one of the flags. The special edition is a nice touch, although it would have been nice to see Chevrolet take this a bit further, after all, you only turn 100 once.
