Chevy is trying to shift some units before the summer is out.
The Chevrolet Silverado range has a pretty significant price bracket, ranging from $34,600 for the Work Truck (WT) in 2WD, Regular Cab guise all the way to $68,400 for the ZR2.
It can be a little intimidating to start browsing this model range if you're in the market. Thankfully, Chevrolet has made it a little easier to decide as its offering up to $3,250 off on certain configurations of the popular tuck's Limited trim. Remember, the Limited (or LTD) Silverado was a sort of placeholder tuck with carryover trim levels and engine options.
Chevrolet is also offering a $1,500 discount on the refreshed 2022 Silverado 1500.
If you're financing, Chevrolet offers low-interest financing (2.89% APR) via GM Financial for both trucks. In addition, the Chevy Open Road sales event has been extended through the end of this month. That means no payments for 90 days (for well-qualified buyers), so you could skip payments until the end of the year depending on when you sign the papers down at the local dealership. But we're not quite done with the discounts yet.
One very specific Silverado configuration: the 2022 Silverado 1500 Limited Crew Cab Custom 4WD offers a national lease of $319 a month for two years. However, that's dependent on driving up to just 10,000 miles per year.
That's with the turbo 2.7-liter four-cylinder and only applies to current lessees of a car made after 2017 with $4,679 due at signing. Highly specific, yes, but there we are. Other lease offers include $500 cashback on the 2.7-liter 1500 LTD and 1500.
Here's the rest of the specifics on the trim levels and pricing: The 2022 Silverado 1500 gets a package discount of $1,500 with the 2.7-liter four-banger, and the LTD comes with up to $1,250 in cash allowance, as well as a $2,000 package discount on the above 2.7-liter mill for the combined rebate of $3,250. That means buyers could drive away in a brand new Silverado 1500 LTD for well under $30,000.
