Competition in the pickup truck segment is fiercer than ever right now. Ford continues to lead the way with the all-new F-150, which still outsells the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks. But if you need a bigger truck with even more capability, the Detroit Big Three have some compelling offerings right now.

Redesigned for the 2020 model year, the new fourth-generation Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty offers a best-in-class tow rating of 36,000 pounds for the 3500 HD model, beating the Ford F-350 Super Duty. To lure buyers away from the competition, Chevrolet is offering some tempting discounts for all 2020 and 2021 Silverado HD Crew Cab models this month with savings of up to $4,750.

For the 2020 Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab and 3500HD Crew Cab models, Chevrolet is offering a $3,750 cash allowance. Eligible GM card members can also take advantage of an additional $1,000 GM Card Bonus Earnings discount, bringing the total savings to $4,750.

With the discount applied, the starting price of the 2020 2500HD Work Truck Crew Cab drops from $38,800 to $34,050, while the range-topping High Country is reduced from $61,600 to $56,850. The larger 2020 3500HD Work Truck Crew Cab, on the other hand, will now set you back $35,250, while the range-topping High Country is reduced to $58,050. Prices exclude the destination charge.

The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD are also eligible for the $3,750 cash allowance. Regardless of the trim, the Silverado HD is available with either a 6.6-liter V8 generating 401 hp and 464 lb-ft or a 6.6-liter V8 turbodiesel rated at 445 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque.

If you prefer to finance, Chevrolet is offering the 2020 Silverado HD with 0 percent APR for up to 72 months plus up to $1,000 cash allowance. The 2021 Silverado HD is also available with 0 percent APR for up to 72 months plus up to $750 cash allowance. All these Silverado HD discounts are valid nationwide until February 1, 2021.
