Every month, automakers typically offer various financing and lease incentives for certain models. But at this time of year, with dealers desperate to clear lots of 2019 models, there are some great deals to be had. The never-ending muscle car sales war between the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang also throws up some incentives to get buyers into showrooms. The Mustang is the best-selling sports car in the world, regularly beating the Camaro in sales even in the US. And Chevy is getting tired of this. Last summer, for example, it offered a $2,500 rebate to lure in Mustang owners. This month, another tempting offer is being made.

As part of its Black Friday Sales Event, Chevy will sell you a new Camaro with a 12 percent discount below MSRP. The catch? It must be a Camaro SS Coupe, meaning V8 power.

It's not a bad condition, to be perfectly honest. A 2019 Camaro SS Coupe begins at $37,995 and factoring in the 12 percent price cut equates to $4,559 in savings. That's 455 horsepower for as low as $34,430, including the $995 destination fee. That naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 comes mated to a six-speed manual as standard. Only in America does this much horsepower come at such a bargain price.

The only other conditions is that the offer can't be combined with any others, including special financing. It also doesn't apply to any lease deals. Buyers must also take delivery by December 2, so consider this as an early Christmas present to yourself.

And if you play your cards right, you might even be able to obtain better deals. Because Camaro sales have been less than stellar in 2019 (weird-looking front-end styling didn't help) – a 7.6 percent year-over-year decline - Chevy dealers are more anxious than ever to sell off remaining inventory.
