The aggressive tailpipe arrangement is a clear nod to the hottest Corvette.
Larte Design has shared what it calls the Avatar tuning kit for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it gives Chevy's mid-engined sports car a more imposing appearance without resorting to Mansory levels of gaudiness.
The kit comprises 13 carbon accessories, and the most eye-catching of those is the full carbon fiber hood that contrasts nicely with the red shade of this particular example. In front, there is also a new bumper splitter, a front bumper overlay, and a hood overlay.
That's all matched by dark 20- and 21-inch inch forged wheels along with new mirror caps and sculptural side sills. More carbon along the side comes in the form of a door overlay.
At the back, the standard CORVETTE script has been replaced by the AVATAR name, but Larte has kept the same font.
A much more aggressive rear wing has been fitted, and this is substantially larger than even the optional spoiler that Chevy offers as part of the Z51 Performance Package. Larte has also added a different rear bumper diffuser with two more brake lights, an exhaust muffler, and reflectors. As you can see, the center-positioned exhausts are reminiscent of the incredible Corvette Z06.
Although Chevy already provides several customization options for the Corvette from the factory, Larte Design has come up with something a bit more exclusive, as its website states that there are only 1,000 or so Larte Design cars worldwide.
The tuner also says you can add some of the accessories independently if the entire makeover is too shouty for your tastes. Installation time for the Avatar kit is 10 hours, but the delivery time is 14 days.
Larte Design has made quite a name for itself since being founded in 2012 and now has branches both in Germany and the USA. The company currently has tuning kits for models like the BMW X5, Cadillac Escalade, and a host of Mercedes-Benz models.
Last year, Larte unveiled its take on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. As with the Corvette seen here, the tuner demonstrated that it knows how to create a compelling body kit without straying too far from the essence of the original vehicle.
