The last ones have to go...
Production of the front-engined Corvette has come to an end, but there's still plenty out there available from the dealer. Now that the new mid-engined C8 generation is getting closer to rolling out of the factory, people are understandably waiting for it to become available. That leaves Chevrolet with a problem: it needs to incentivize people to clear out the inventory of the C7 generation. According to GM Authority, Chevy is continuing to offer big discounts on the C7, with up to $9,000 in savings available off existing models.
Recently, Chevy has made up to $3,000 available off the price of the Corvette, but this offer is designed to clear the decks for the C8 generation. The key phrase here is "up to," and it's existing Corvette owners that can get the best deals on a new one for the November discounts. To get the $3,000 loyalty discount, you have to be a current owner or lessee of a Chevrolet Corvette for at least 30 days prior to the new vehicle sale. You'll have to act fast though, that offer is only for the month of November, and delivery has to be taken by December 2, 2019.
Further to that is a general $6,404 discount from MSRP on the C7 Corvette, one of the most significant discounts yet seen on a Corvette. The incentive is listed under the Stingray model on Chevrolet's website, and not under the Grand Sport, Z06, or ZR1 trim levels. However, we don't see a clause restricting the offer, and Chevrolet's example given is for a Z06 model. GM Authority says it has reached out to sources and confirmed the offer is available across the board.
That means you could get into a base model Stingray 1LT for $47,591 instead of $56,995, and a top of the range ZR1 3ZR for $122,591. That's before the $1,095 destination charge.
