Chevy Reaper Will Power In to Fill F-150 Raptor's Gap

With no Raptor expected just yet on the new F-150, Chevy specialists will soon unveil the Silverado Reaper

Ford’s new F-150 - with aluminum body and significantupgrades throughout - is no doubt going to pose a significant threat toChevrolet’s truck line. But as we recently told you, the popularperformance F-150 SVT Raptor won't be available on the new model in comingyears. Rather than letting truck enthusiasts hold their breath,Chevy specialists Lingenfelter and Southern Comfort Automotive will soon unveilthe 2014 Silverado Reaper.

The Reaper will offer a Fox Racing suspension system, superchargedV8 and a Corsa exhaust system, in addition to a high clearance bumper, grilleand hood and 17-inch beadlock wheels with off-road tires. With exterior options like custom graphics,bespoke gauge packages and stitched headrests, the Reaper should look pretty good bothinside and out. With all these enhancements, this truck might just be the one to lure disappointed Raptor fans into Chevy dealerships, where conversion kits will be available later this year.
