Many electric vehicles, even the most affordable options, are still priced well beyond a reasonable gas-powered vehicle. That's why the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV is so exciting because it will arrive with a starting price under $30,000. Chevy has posted a few teasers for its upcoming electric crossover, mostly showing the futurist exterior styling of the sportier RS trim. In the latest teaser video, we get a better look at the interior.

Some of the features, like the large touchscreen display from the Silverado EV, have already been shown in previous rendering images. The cabin will also get a fully digital instrument cluster and GM's hands-free Super Cruise technology.

The brief video gets up close and personal with the dashboard, showing the styling X-shaped air vents and ambient lighting. Those lights shift from white to blue in the video, but it's unclear if other colors will also be selectable. We also get a closer look at the two-tiered armrest with large cupholders, two easily accessible USB-C ports, physical climate controls, and upper and lower storage areas.

It then pans over the digital gauge cluster, which shows 48,211 miles on the odometer. Could that be a hidden Easter egg or just a random number? Overall, the interior looks pretty nice given the affordable target price tag.

Chevy is quick to point out that all of the images shown in the teaser are simulated, so they are subject to change before the production Equinox EV is revealed to the public. This makes sense, as the Equinox EV isn't slated to arrive until 2024. That's one year after the electric Blazer, which has only been teased and still hasn't been fully revealed to the public. Oddly, Chevy seems more interested in teasing its second upcoming electric crossover, not the one that is slated to arrive in 2023.
