With many of even the newest cars to come out of China being complete disasters of poor build quality, with appalling safety records and an utter disregard for intellectual property laws, you might expect the latest Chinese electric car to be a complete joke. Well, not so fast. It seems that the Denza is the result of a partnership between Daimler and the Chinese automaking giant BYD, and it is actually based on the Mercedes B-Class platform.
