Chris Harris Defiantly Drifts BMW 435i

Motoring TV

BMW told him not to, which made Harris even more determined to get the back out while test driving the new 4 Series.

The new 3 Series Coupe must now be called the 4 Series. Not everyone is a fan of BMW’s new nomenclature and Chris Harris is one such critic. But that didn’t stop him from heading to Portugal to test drive the BMW 435i on the road and track. That’s the model powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque, which is all sent to the rear wheels via a state-of-the-art eight-speed automatic box. Now, bear in mind Harris the hoonigan has a penchant for going sideways.

So when BMW announced there should be no drifting during the test drive, the British auto scribe duly ignored the German carmaker and proceeded as normal.Yet another reason why we hold the man they call Monkey in such high esteem.
