Chris Harris Likes the 2014 BMW 535d Too Much

Test Drive

It’s a car with few faults according to the Drive presenter.

First it was the Chevy Volt, and now Drive’s diminutive British auto-scribe Chris Harris has delivered another all-too-brief review of the BMW 535d. Now, we’re not saying the man who loves to drift doesn’t genuinely like the diesel-powered 5er, but the way this test drive comes across strikes us as somewhat forced. Is the Drive channel branching out into infomercials or the video equivalent of advertorials? It certainly looks that way.

As long as we continue to see Monkey getting stuck into some proper cars, then it’s fine by us. The car also happens to be pretty sweet, so check it out.
