Chrysler has sold almost 13 million minivans since 1983, and in recent times soccer moms minivan of preference has been the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan that make up almost half of all minivans sold in the US last year. So it stands to reason that to celebrate 30 years of its people carriers, Chrysler would roll out special editions of this popular pair. The Grand Caravan 30th Anniversary Edition uses the SXT model powered by a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 283 hp that's sent to custom 17-inch alloys via a six-speed auto box.

Aside from its anniversary badging, setting the special edition apart are body-colored heated mirrors, fog lamps, side roof rails and bright belt moldings, as well as a unique Granite Crystal Metallic Pearl paint job. Inside, a black leather and piano black trimmed cabin comes with power seats and special logos. The Touring-L model is the basis of the Town & Country Anniversary Edition, which mimics the Grand Caravan's powerplant set up and special body color, and also boasts 17-inch rims, badging and bright side roof rails. A black Alcantara and Nappa leather interior with power-folding heated seats and a host of optional goodies thrown in round off the special treatment.
