Mopar and Chrysler just used SEMA to show off the fastest 300 sedan that the American automaker has ever produced. The model is called the 300 Super S, and it's a sight to behold. We first got a peek at it last week and were left wondering just what was up. Unlike some SEMA concepts that feature mostly aesthetic changes, this car also gets an intense power upgrade. The Chrysler 300 Super S gets a 5.7-liter V8 that's good for 485 horsepower.

That's a big step up from even the current top-of-the-line Chrysler 300 that puts out 363 horses. Do these new numbers seem familiar? Well if you're paying attention they should. That's because the 300 Super S has the same 5.7-liter V8 that you'll find in the Dodge R/T Scat Pack found in the Charger and Challenger. On top of this fantastic power boost, this newest 300 model can be differentiated from any previous model by a Mopar coil-over suspension kit, a great looking light blue matte finish, 22" black wheels, and a revised Mopar grille. The 300 has always looked good and at SEMA it's even more incredible. A production version of the sedan with 485 horsepower seems unlikely but we can always dream, right?
