The Citroen C4 Picasso has been spotted several times throughout its development phase by our intrepid spy photographers, however this is the first time they have been able to catch the bigger C4 Grand Picasso on the road. The C4 Grand Picasso is essentially a larger version of the C4 Picasso, with additional seating for seven, longer rear doors and a boxier rear-end. Though covered in dizzying camouflage, we can clearly tell that Citroen has failed to add sliding doors on the big van/CUV.

They have opted instead for more conventional doors like the smaller variant on which it is based. In terms of motivation, the Citroen will be equipping the Grand Picasso with the same engine lineup found on the standard C4 Picasso, meaning that there will be several gasoline and HDi diesel engines available. It could also be offered with the impressive Hybrid4 system already found on the Citroen DS5 and the Peugeot 3008. In any case, the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso will arrive in European dealerships sometime in 2013.
