One of the most basic cars every built, the Citroen 2CV has endured as something of an icon. Rumors have floated around for years that Citroen was planning a revival (no doubt eying the success of the Mini, 500 and Beetle revivals), but the latest reports indicate that a new 2CV could be here before the new year is out. The neo 2CV would reportedly be based on the C4's platform, adopting the styling previewed by the 2007 C-Cactus concept (pictured). Expect engines to offer up to 100 horsepower after it debuts at the 2013 Frankfurt show in September.
