American tuner Classic Recreations specializes in taking iconic cars of yesterday and turning them into modern machines. And now their latest effort is the difficult task of recreating the legendary 1965 Shelby G.T. 350CR, which will be based on an original 1965 or 66 Mustang Fastback. In the past, Classic Recreations has done amazing work on Shelby's at their Oklahoma facility with complete restoration jobs on the body while outfitting them with modern technology.

Some of the reborn G.T. 350CR's upgrades will include putting in a tubular sub frame chassis with a cosmetic roll bar, coilover suspension on the front and rear and oversized bars. Classic Recreations will offer many choices of paint finishes such as Red/White, White/Blue, Black/Gold and Blue/White with other custom colors available upon request. There's also authentic Carrol Shelby exterior fiberglass enhancements. A set of 17-inch GT 350CR aluminum wheels wrapped in high-performance Z-Rated tires round out the exterior of the Shelby. The tuner has also done the same job of restoring the interior with modern technology.

Stepping inside, you'll see features that include the addition of Carroll Shelby Scat Rally Series 1000 seats, a wood grain aluminum steering wheel and five-point Camlock seatbelts. Also added are Carroll Shelby Signature gauges, Carroll Shelby GT 350CR, Pioneer CD Player with a removable face, four-channel amplifiers, coxial speakers, an Old Air Products A/C system, and a 160 mph speedometer. Under the hood, the entry-level version will generate power from a 7.0-liter V8 delivering an output of 545hp. The supercharged version raises the bar with an output of 645 horses.

An even more powerful version with an intercooler churns out an incredible 745 horses. And finally, there's a twin-turbo version that will pump out an astonishing 1,000hp - there's a reason why we were put on this earth. With a base price beginning at $119,000, the Classic Recreations Shelby G.T. 350CR comes with inclusion to the Shelby American Worldwide Registry. In addition to the power upgrades, the company also offers a host of add-ons for this classic Mustang that's combined with modern technology.
