Unconventional drag strip weapon is a supercharged monster.

In its normal state, the Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series is a potent weapon. The 6.2-liter V8 comes with 507 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque, does 0-62 mph in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 187 mph. Though one of the best driving cars on the road, the maniacs over at Weistec Engineering thought it would be fun to thrash it on the drag strip – but not before supercharging it to somewhere in the region of 1,000 hp.

The run took place at Atco Dragway, which was hosting the Throwdown Drag Race and Car show event. As you’ll witness in the video, the result is a quarter mile run of 9.757 seconds set at a blisteringly fast speed of 151.95 mph.
