CLS Shooting Brake by Lorinser

Tuning

German tuning house creates body kit, performance enhancements, a new exhaust and wheels for the CLS wagon.

A tuning house with a penchant for Mercedes-Benz, Lorinser has just revealed its latest aftermarket program for the CLS Shooting Brake made up of a body kit and a choice of power upgrades. First up, it offers a tailor-made aerodynamic add-ons. Consisting of a new front spoiler, rear skirt and side skirts, the kit can be mounted on original attachment points, and is priced at 6,176 Euros. Lorinser also provides a selection of alloys in a range of sizes including RSK6 modular five-spoke alloys, available in 19- and 20-inch diameters.

The Shooting Brake's sporty nature is further enhanced with suspension springs that take the car 25 mm closer to the tarmac, while a series of power upgrades are available for certain engines in the lineup. The CLS 350's 3.5-liter V6, for example, can be boosted from 306 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque to 322 hp and 295 lb-ft, while the 350 CDI's 3.0-liter V6 can be upped from 265 hp and 457 lb-ft to 305 hp and 513 lb-ft. All that added power is now channeled through a new stainless-steel exhaust system, available with sport silencers. A bespoke interior can also be ordered with accessories ranging from aluminum pedals and door sills to a complete leather interior and personalized floor mats.
