Mercedes-Benz released its new CLS Shooting Brake over the weekend. But the one we'll all want to see is the high-performance version. Fortunately the AMG wagon has already leaked out in this video clip. Packing the same 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 and Speedshift MCT 7-speed transmission as the "four door coupe", the Shooting Brake version will combine 525 horsepower with a more versatile body-style and additional storage space.

The svelte wagon should offer similar performance to the four-door model, so expect a 0-60mph time in the low 4-second range and a top speed electronically limited to155 mph.

Superior handling over the regular CLS Shooting Brake will come from the latest AMG Adaptive Suspension damping system, an AMG-specific electro-hydraulic steering system and a custom front axle arrangement. Official details and pictures should be released in the near future.
