With only 500 examples made, LaFerrari is a rare beast indeed. The open-top LaFerrari Aperta even more so, with just 210 units. But Bonhams has examples of both on the docket for its sale at the Goodwood Revival this weekend. And if you place the right bids, you could be coming home with either - or better yet, both.

The pair are quite nearly matching: the coupe on offer is done up in a dark gunmetal grey and black, with the roadster all murdered-out in Nero Daytona. Both have black and red interiors, and have had just one owner.

The same owner, we'd venture, judging from the photos and their consignment for the same sale. And they've barely been driven, with less than 5,900 kilometers (3,666 miles) on the coupe, and under 510 km (317 miles) on the roadster.

There's more to their commonality, of course, than their apparent shared ownership and availability. The two versions of the same each pack a 6.3-liter V12 paired to an electric motor and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, kicking out a massively impressive combined output of 950 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque – enough to send either rocketing to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds.

Keep your foot planted and it'll pass 124 mph in under seven seconds, and 186 mph in just 15, before topping out at over 217 mph. The numbers quoted are for the coupe, mind you, but the Aperta roadster is estimated to do about the same.

So how much would it cost you to put one or both in your driveway? Only time will tell what heights bidding might reach, but Bonhams values the coupe at £2.3-2.8 million (about $3-4m at current exchange rates), and the scarcer roadster even higher at £5-6.5m (~$6.5-8.3m).
