Last week saw the reveal of the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante, and now the automaker has launched an online configurator for its fastest convertible ever made. As standard, there's a choice of 35 different exterior colors, along with an additional 13 colors available from Q by Aston Martin.

Once you've chosen a color, the exterior can be further enhanced by a selection of carbon fiber packages, and you can also add smoked taillights. There are five different designs available for the 21-inch wheels, and Aston Martin even offers eight different colors for the fabric soft top. The interior options are just as extensive, with more than 20 different finishes for the interior trim. We opted for a Cosmic Orange exterior, mixed with a black balmoral leather interior and contrasting orange stitching.

Like the DBS Superleggera Coupe, the Volante version is powered by a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 producing 715 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque for open-air driving thrills. The V12 unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, enabling the convertible supercar to sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and 100 mph in 6.7 seconds, before maxing out at 211 mph.

Unsurprisingly, the convertible weighs 375 pounds more than the coupe for a total dry weight of 4,107 pounds, but produces 6.6 pounds less downforce at top speed compared to the coupe. Opening and closing the soft top only takes 14 seconds.

Sales for the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante are set to kick off in Q3 2019 with a starting price of $329,100. For comparison, its fixed-roof sibling starts off at around $304,995.
