A GT-R with four doors is the family-enthusiast’s dream come true in Geneva.
The rumors, speculations and prayers have finally been putto rest. The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, which was introduced in concept form atthe Detroit Auto Show, roared into Geneva today flaunting its twin-turbochargedV-6 engine, the same engine found in its corporate, sexy cousin- the NissanGT-R. The Infiniti’s engine is tuned to put out 560 horsepower and 443lb-ft of torque- 15hp more than a stock GT-R.
The Eau Rouge also makes use of the GT-R’s all-wheel drivesystem, making the 0-60mph run in under four seconds. The car should offer top speedsof 180mph. Wrapping the GT-R performance into a family-friendly sports sedan, thisis one of the most exciting models in recent memory from Infiniti. Now, we justhave to start hoping it’ll make production in the near future.
