A GT-R with four doors is the family-enthusiast’s dream come true in Geneva.
The rumors, speculations and prayers have finally been put to rest. The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, which was introduced in concept form at the Detroit Auto Show, roared into Geneva today flaunting its twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, the same engine found in its corporate, sexy cousin- the Nissan GT-R. The Infiniti’s engine is tuned to put out 560 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque- 15hp more than a stock GT-R.
The Eau Rouge also makes use of the GT-R’s all-wheel drive system, making the 0-60mph run in under four seconds. The car should offer top speeds of 180mph. Wrapping the GT-R performance into a family-friendly sports sedan, this is one of the most exciting models in recent memory from Infiniti. Now, we just have to start hoping it’ll make production in the near future.
