Mercedes has released another teaser video of the hotly-anticipated AMG GT, announcing that the future flagship will debut on September 9. The sports car’s development has involved fifty test drivers during 32 months of engineering road tests, spanning 15 countries in climates ranging from -30 to 50 degrees Celsius. As Mercedes says, “no compromises” were made in the construction of the SLS AMG’s replacement.
While we know motivation will come from a newly-developed 4.0-liter V8, Mercedes has revealed output will range from 462 to 510 horsepower. The implication here is that there will be multiple versions of the engine with different amounts of power. The AMG GT will make its public debut in Paris after its online reveal on September 9.
